Having spent ages on the idea of a website but being sooooo slow in building the damn thing
I was suggested by my friend Michele to get a space here and create my blog.
Although the home pc is no longer connected (at the mo) I only have the chance to write/add images using the office pc in working time (does this mean I'll never get any job done?).
This space is intended to be rather a portfolio than a true blog, showing the pics I usually take when offroading/travelling across Italy in my Land Rover Defender, nicknamed the Cube II (the Ist was stolen in 2000 and then the nickname stuck),and my comics/illustrations...and various stuff I may come across on the way...
The Cube is a 1997 M.Y., 2.5 Tdi engined SW Defender 90, upgraded with ARBs lockable diffs, converted to Longfield Toyota style CVs and custom axles,and some other goodies*...as any other Land Rover,she's a work in progress (will it ever end...?).
*visitors who are not in the LR community will not have a clue of what I'm talking of,but...!

Being registered as "commercial truck" the rear sits were deleted thanks to the Italian laws,so being a two seater the "crew" is composed by 2 people only...me (of course) and my friend Mauro,who usually holds the passenger/navigator/weapons officer (joke) seat.
We usually get lost.
